This week the reading and exploration consists of looking at one another’s final presentations. They are located on the class wiki - http://lbs850fecteau.wikispaces.com/. There should be uploads or links on the home page to take you to one another’s content.
As you look at the presentations write a brief paragraph highlighting you thoughts on the strengths and weaknesses of the system. In addition, you are to choose the presentation that you would be most compelled to supply funds for. Don’t worry; you don’t actually have to pay for it. Simply write an acceptance letter to that person citing both the strengths of the system and the strengths of the presentation. The letter should be emailed to me. You can leave the short paragraphs as comments on the wiki. (Use the tab that says discussion.) Just title the comment with the name of the person upon whose presentation you are commenting. Don’t read other people’s comments first because then you are going to feel weird if they say the same thing you did and the presenter will want your genuine reaction regardless of if someone else already said the same thing!
Remember the “Top 10 Things Teachers Should Know About Technology” list that you made at the beginning of the class? Well, I would like you to revisit that this week and post your (possibly) updated list on your blog. Please highlight any changes you made and why. Also, if you made no changes, please explain how your perceptions or attitudes towards the things on the list may have changed due to your work in the course.
Finally, if you would be so kind as to use this week’s discussion to articulate your thoughts and feelings about the content of the course, it will help me in teaching it in the future!
It feels rather final to be posting the last assignment. I will try not to get over-emotional! As always, email me with any questions.
